so here is the thing. over the past day or two, it was sporadically messaging atomiser short. now its telling me.. no atomiser, no matter which tank or dripper i put on it.

it not that old, maybe 4 or 5 months.

stripped it back and gave it a good clean and inspection. i think either
1 ive stripped the threads on the 510 connection
or
2 the positive pin has been dislodged somehow.

either way, im annoyed, as i liked the mod, and have ordered a new one anyway. question is though, can it be repaired? brokenj parts replaced. seems a waste otherwise as all else seems to be functioning as normal...battery power, voltage etc.

I'm betting on 2. That the center pin is stuck so that non of your attys are making a connection.

Imo I would go with a new mod.

My 2 iStick 100W have been very good to me. In fact, I'm going to be ordering 2 of the new iStick TC200W. For the vapocolypse.

Another reason to get a new mod!

My RX200 and the Cuboid 150W also had the 510 issue. I think the 510s on these Joytech mods aren't really spring loaded. Its almost as if the black grommet around the 510 pin is whats holding it in place. You can get a slight adjustment b/c of the plastic grommets resistance, but nowhere near the movement you get from a true spring loaded pin.
