Been reading about this for a while. Stopped in at our local vape shop to test some juice this evening. Guy said "Hey, wanna show you something". I knew what he was referring to and couldn't believe how small it was. Wasn't going to buy one there because it was obviously more than I would pay online. They wanted $50 and sure enough I walked out of the store with my Aerotank V2 atop my new silver istick. Lucky to have a great vape shop in our area and the istick is this far incredible.

The device is a ‘disposable’ unit, meaning the battery is sealed into the device and not replaceable.

So you cannot change the battery??

I just find this part kind of strange myself as it looks like it would be very easy to make it so you could change batteries.

Did you ask them why they did not make the battery compartment accessible?

hmm maybe the battery is just an oddball style and hard to remove or order.

I think they would be farther ahead to make the batteries replaceable as more people might plop down the $30-$50.

I've had my I-stick for a few weeks now. Amazing size and power. However, the vape power I can't figure, especially since they adjust simultaneously and with limits imposed by the ohms of the coil. I have to vape near minimum settings with it, like 3 volts and just over 4 watts, to avoid burnt taste with Aerotanks and RBA's. I can put the same tanks on the MVP at much higher settings and still have good flavor.

Anyone else experience this, or able to explain what is going on? Thanks.

So are you saying that its putting out more power than its reading on the screen?

Reason for this is some mods use peak, some mean and some RMS calculations for the output. In an amplifier (audio) scenario we all want RMS but I don't know which is 'best' for vaping. Technically RMS would be best 'value' to the user and we need to consider joules/second of output (that which creates the actual heat). I tend to just set a device at a point I like the vape and use watts as a guideline not a rule :)

Hi.. Fantastic comprehensive review. I was going to order an lnnokin device but I am now convinced that the eLeaf is smaller and cooler. I just ordered it. Can't wait. I hope I get a Saturday mail delivery! Thanks a lot for helping me make up my mind. I have to say though, if the internal battery packs in before the rest of the unit I'll be popping it open and soldering in a new one!
