eLeaf iStick shows ohms much higher

I have an eleaf istick. Lately I've noticed when I vape with my 1.8 ohm coils it shows them higher than that, as high as 4.5 ohms!

Is this ok?

Also will say "No atomizer" every once in a while and I will have to turn it off and back on.

Is this safe to vape?

EDIT: Tried it in my same carto and coil in my old iTazte and it shows ohms as 1.9. Must be a problem with the iStick, right?

No that's not ok. Have you cleaned the 510 connection? I use qtips and rubbing alcohol to clean mine once in a while. It could also be the tank not making connection with the coil. What tank are you using?

It'll put out the wrong amount of power for the coil, def clean the 510.
