Try other batteries, check if the mod shows them as charged.. but you could have a board that went bad, it happens with any mod to have a few that are going to fail.

Have you tested your batteries? charged them externally?

Have you dropped it, possible a solder broke or failed?

I have several TC100W (a few about a full year old), with only one that the board went funny after almost 3 months and started to auto-fire, and it's in the process of being replaced (sent it in last week).

Considering the number of times that my wife and daughter have dropped or flooded theirs and the mods are still working just fine... it's a very solid mod.. and I absolutely love it, so one bad apple in a huge bunch can happen.

But if it's still covered, just switch it. If it isn't, as they are impossibly cheap for a dual-battery mod, you could just get another one.

well good luck, but what where the old batteries, and what did you get.

Hopefully actual brand ones (high drain, valid brand names and proper models)... as possibly the reason why your troubles might be because you used non-proper batteries. If you were using any off-brand ones, that might be the issue, and those batteries might habe been a huge safety hazard.

Check my blog, I have info about a bunch of things, including batteries, but you should look up Mooch's blog, he the battery expert, and ensure that you got recommended batteries.

And funny anecdote, as coincidence comes, one of my wife's mods, that she had flooded (I mean the insides where completely drenched) a few months ago has finally given up and died last night.

So I went and ordered 3 more TC100W, just to ensure we have a few spares, as accidents do happen and as Eleaf has yet to come up with a better mod after a year's time, I'd rather stock up in case they became hard to get.

Cheers for the replies:banana:
I have ordered new batteries and hopefully that will do the trick; until they arrive I will continue with my usb lead and portable charger to start my puffer when I am out and about;)
Welcome and glad you joined. I have provided a little more information which might help evaluating batteries. Hope it's not too late.

Hi all

Cheers for all the replies:)

New batteries 'Torchy 18650 3000mAh 3.7V' made no difference; I still continuing with my usb lead and portable charger to start my puffer when I am out and about. I went into a few vapour shops and most where pretty bemused by what it was doing; one guy who seemed to know his stuff suggested a firmware update and I have ordered a data transfer USB cable which should be with me on Saturday, if that does not work I am going to buy a new one on pay day;)

Cheers for now,

Meeji
