Eleaf Melo expansion? Atlantis 5, 7 or Kraigen 8??

Hi Everyone.

So I recently entered the sub ohm arena.

First I began with the eleaf 30w. Now i'm using the 50w. 50w is 4400mah, so if you're going to do sub ohm with any regularity, the 30 will only last you maybe 1 to 1.5 3ml tanks of juise. The 50w is goign strong so far (only had it for a little while but haven't gotten to killing the battery before its time to charge it.

So, here is my question.

The eleaf Melo tank works really well for me & using maybe 90/10 mix vg/pg. The issue is that when you're ar 25W or so, you'll begin to really eat up the juice quick.

I use it on the go and need a larger tank.

Has anyone tried an expansion tank?

I know the Melo is very similar to the Atlantis. I don't have an Atlantis, but I figure someone on the ECF has to have both. The mostly confirmed rumor is that you can use the Melo's OCC coils in the Atlantis which tells me the threads are correct for that portion. Does anyone know if the atlantis glass, or its expansion tanks, would fit a melo?

Does anyone with the Kraigen 8ml know if it would fit the Melo? The Kraigen 8ml Atlantis Tank - Kidney Puncher

Finally, is the Atlantis tip the standard diameter as most others or is it wider at its base?

I just started using a Melo myself and love it. I hope someone chimes in with the answer soon. I asked this question on another forum. Will answer back if I get the answer.

I just got Aspire's larger 5ml, tank and heard it should work fine on the Melo, but haven't emptied my Melo to try it yet.
Melo coils should work in the Atlantis, and Atlantis expansion tanks should work on the Melo.

Just saw in another thread that someone is using the 5ml Atlantis tank on the Melo with no problem.

It may have been my post. I have a melo with the a-mod Atlantis tank from eciggity and it is a perfect fit. I also got the aspire Atlantis larger tank and it is a perfect fit as well. The a-mod tank is blank on the top part but the aspire tank has aspire engraved in to it. The left is an Atlantis the right is a Melo. The tips are standard size.

I tried the combo at a vape shop myself. Even the guys there didn't realize they fit. Since you have it setup, do you find any issues with the way the top screws onto the coil because of the slight difference of Melo's rounded slots for juice to flow into the coil vs Atlantis having the square notches?

Not at all. I just make sure the juice openings line up with the openings in the chimney. I have run many tanks of juice thru with no problems at all. Also there have been no issues at all using an Atlantis coil in the Melo or a melo coil in the atlantis. I actually prefer the flavor from the melo coils. I haven't tried the new cotton atlantis coils yet.
