Eleaf ohm meter not reading right?

Hello everyone, wanted to know if anyone has had issues with the eleaf ohm meter? I've tried two different attys and many different coils, and it always reads too high. (if it reads at all. It usually just flashes a bunch of 8's.) Right now I have 30 g Kanthal D in a 1.63 mm coil with 6/5 wrap and it isn't touching anything, but my reading is 3.62. According to the calc I use I should be around 1.2... If I move the leads the resistance doesn't change at all. I've never gotten a build under 2 ohms. Not sure if my unit is defective or if I'm ......ed.

I hate it when that happens!

I recently thought my charger had unexplicably died over night. Turns out the cat stepped on the power button of the power strip... took me a while to figure that out!
