Do you have to use "Clapton" wire or coils? I'm thinking of buying but would like to use-up some of my kanthal A-1, 26ga. I usually build 3.5mm at .5 ohm for other RBA...I have it. My favorite regulated single battery Squonk. Worth it!

I think it has a lot to do with the store you're buying from. Check around, you should be able to find a store that doesn't require that.This thread just made me sad. I just ordered one and had to cancel the order. They asked for my id or social which I'd never give. Kinda bummed.

There are plenty of things that you purchase online that don't require me to supply my social or ID. This is a total deal breaker for me.With the crackdown on underage sales, I think we will I've hard pressed to purchase online without a fairly intrusive verification system.
