Electric shock with a carto?

Hi!
10 minutes ago, I was vaping normaly on my 510 carto I received 2 days ago and then, all of a sudden, i got some kind of electric shock right on my tongue! At first I thought it was some juice that got in my mouth, but the "pain" (not really pain, much more like a needle on my tongue) got a little bit bigger after a few seconds. Seems like an electric shock...
I have a piercing in my tongue, maybe it helped?

Have you ever got this?

Was the carto made of metal? Was a wire somehow sticking out of it? If not, I cannot see a way that you got an electric shock from it, piercing or not...

I had one do that a while back. After a bit I finally figured out it probably wasn't supposed to do that and tossed it LOL

Most likely a vertical element carto and the end of the element is very close to the white cap plug. Open carto and look for a small black wire near the top of the filler. Take a toothpick and push it down about a millimeter or two so that it is burried in the wadding. If not they are cheap, chuck it.

You were right, there was a wire sticking out of the filler. I pushed it down a little bit and now it seems to be OK.
This is my first carto, and so far, I really like it!

Awesome glad it worked for you. With the piercing it will help the current to jump. Just keep that in mind and check the others prior to filling. Happy vaping!
