Nice article Richard. We've taken very similar routs, although there's been a lot more DIY in my journey. I started a few months after you but my first "store bought" mod was a Chuck if you don't count the DSE-905 (and I don't), however, I built a couple of box mods and a copper pipe mod while I was waiting for the Chuck. I went to VV last December and considered a ProVari but price and availability steered me to the Buzz.
I also started mixing my own juice about a month after I started vaping which I think saved me a ton of money. The savings more than paid for a nice LED big screen and wireless network at my one year mark. :)
BTW, I'm one of those people who have given up the nic too. It took me a year and a half of weaning but I've been at zero nic since mid July.
Nice to read similar success stories.
Be well.

McCordRM, very interesting read. My husband and I started vaping a year ago but went back to analogs. We bought our first e-cig kit at our local mall. We had so many problems with it that we gave up. Just this past July, we started vaping again and bought a mod instead. We went with the Omega and it has changed our view on vaping. We still have that occasional analog but I went from 1 pack a day to 5-10 and my husband went from 2 packs a day to 5-10. We are working on stopping all together and I know we will succeed once we find the right Juice. We live in NY and it will be a nightmare for us if they ban them. Thank You again for putting it out there. :)

Just doing my part. :)
I haven't tried the Omega, so I can't comment on it... but I can say that I absolutely love my ProVari. I'll grab a black chrome one at some point, but not until I get some money rolling in. heh
Also, the pre-filled carts I get from Vapor 4 Life help because they're effortless. I could refill them, and have occasionally, but being able to just switch and go makes continuing to vape a hell of a lot nicer than smoking cigs.
