Really near the mexican border.
Today on
AMC I saw an advertisement for www.americanbluetip.com and
then on
USA I saw an advertisement for EZsmoke.com

They both show people smoking in public, no smoke, no chemicals outside of nicotine. I thought they were very well done, except for the EZ smoke, because it is a club.
The unsuspecting public doesn't know what they are getting into with the clubs.

I would have thought that Ecigs fell under the No tobacco Ads advertising settlement. Maybe Ecigs are allowed. They certainly should be. That's exactly what we need to get the word out. Advertising people are usually very good at getting the public educated and informed.

Since the FDA got into the act against Ecigs and the court decided that since Ecigs were considered to be a tobacco product because the nicotine is extracted from tobacco, they were assumed not to be under FDA jurisdiction. The reason was that the FDA settlement with BT included an exemption from further action against tobacco products. The FDA can still regulate nicotine based quit smoking products.

I can see conflict over this. If they were a quit smoking product, the FDA would already be mounting a campaign to take them off TV, which wouldn't work because then they would be drugs and drugs can be advertised.
