Overall, a pretty good article, especially since the local e-cigarette proponents were quoted first, and the lemming doctor from Kaiser Permanante (not the kiosk seller as claimed by Upinthehills) wasn't very convincing.

Virtually all news stories about e-cigarettes have informed smokers about the products, which has encouraged some to try them.

Where did this "supposed" doctor get her degree? Off of a cereal box? back of a pack of matches? Cracker Jacks? Seriously, the total disregard for truth, clarity and accuracy is so infuriating - it permeates our entire public discourse in every arena and makes it exceedingly difficult to have an intelligent debate about important issues. Regarding "Doctor Ignore-the-Facts" # 1 she works for Kaiser Permanante -an insurance Company (should be enough said for any thinking individual) but for those still uncertain, # 2 check out Kaiser Permanante on Google re: the horror stories - quite an impressive track record and rather ironic that this company would have a representative commenting (albeit, fraudulently) on 'health concerns' - it's kinda like Rush Limbaugh calling recently deceased George Steinbrenner a "cracker, Capitalist". Beyond unbelievable!

I was referring to John Allen of Colorado E-Smokes. He is a guy with a mall kiosk. Perhaps I wasn't as clear as I should have been.
