I don't know if there is much difference other than the mixers ability to produce something that tastes good.

But I do know of one very popular and inexpensive company that I've tried...
And everything they make tastes like crap to me.

Don't know why that would be, since as you say, the ingredients are pretty much standard.

There are expensive juices that taste like crap, and cheap ones that taste great. I just tend to stick with American made juices, preferably AEMSA members, who seem like they care about quality and safety. I want something mixed with USP grade ingredients in a sterile environment, and bottled in a quality and clean bottling facility. Also manufacturers that lab test and avoid flavorings or additives that could be harmful are a big plus. So I'll pay more for a safe quality product.

some cheap ones are good, some are hit and miss and some are bad. I usually find mid range stuff is good. ive been buying the stuff around 15 dollars for 30 mls.
Mohawk Vapor, Casey Jones

ITC elixir, Ive heard their strawberry is good,
And they are the cheapest company ive seen. 3.99 for 18mls

havent tried them, but, we`ll see. Try to have a bottle of higher nic stuff for when the cravings hit.

Hi! Could you please tell me the difference between cheap quality eliquid and expensive brands. I'm assuming the taste might be better with expensive brands but aren't the rest of the ingredients standard? Thank you

The difference is the price folks will pay. Many seem to think if it costs more it is safer or better.
For my money I'll stick with the two biggest names in e-liquid Hangsen or Dekang they've been doing it since the start have huge facilities that produce mass quantities so their prices are the most competetive out there.

Comparing them to a mom and pop shop that makes less juice than even one of there flavours sales per year
one might understand better why, the difference in price exist. It's not at all that one juice is better in any way from the other, but the big guys can afford to get it to us at a fraction of the cost due to the high volumes they sell.:vapor:

A lot depends on how you perceive the taste of the eliquid. If you do not like the taste, it does not matter if it costs $100 or $1.00, you will not vape it. Another factor to consider is the equipment you use. I have seen several people here on ECF who tried the same eliquid on different setups, and got different degrees of satisfaction with each setup.

My daughter and I are on a tight budget. We use Kanger Evods with standard Evod clearomisers and Evod Glass. We are fortunate to have found several vendors who have a variety of flavors that we like and prices that fit our budget. It does not matter to us that they are not considered "gourmet" vendors. We like them, and they are helping us to continue to be ex-smokers, and that is all that matters to us in the end.

Taste is a very personal thing. A juice that tastes good to you might taste like s..t to your friend.

I live in the US and will not buy juice from China cause of the stories about ingredients.

The cheapest juice is what you make yourself. It can also be, sometimes, the best tasting for you since you control what it tastes like.

Juice is Propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, maybe nic, and some chemicals that fool your tastebuds. The glycol and glycerine are available in several grades and most, almost all, US manufacturers use high quality. The nic is also usually a pharmaceutical grade. The chemicals come from huge companies who sell to other companies who sell to other companies that the juice chef selects and combines to get the flavor he is looking for.

None of this stuff is tested, except by us, for lung inhalation. All of it is tested as a food additive.

One of the determining factors for a juice is the person who comes up with the formula. Some juices will have 10 or more flavor ingredients. It takes a good palette, better than mine, to taste differences and experience to know what to try to bring the subtle flavors out. A hint of something you might not imagine will be the subtle flavor hiding in the background of your favorite juice.

Since taste varies so much look for a reviewer you agree with. Just cause a lot of people like a juice is no reason you will like it but a reviewer who always likes the same thing you do can be a trustworthy guide.

Some juice lines have a personality. I like the juice from Liberty Vapor but they do not have a lime I like so I get that from Allusion. When I want a tart citrus flavor I go to allusion and when I wnat most other flavors I go to Liberty.

Liberty makes a Trix flavor that is dead on but I add a little lemon that makes it better. There is no way I could make a juice with the layers and subtlety of theirs but I like a hint of lemon so I but the juice and add a hint of my lemon.

Making your own juice is like cooking. With a little care you can mix the ingredients from a recipe and have it come out OK. With training and God given talent you can decide that the recipe needs a touch of allspice.

Quality Controls the biggest thing... Nicoticket is the bomb cuz they focus on doing a few juices really well... 9 times out of 10 the companies with less selections are good cuz they put the time and effort into what they do. If you want a good Juice for Decent money I'd go with Dr Crimmys 20.00 per 60 ml bottle but his shippings high and he takes a while or Nicoticket
