Received my elite 808 kit a few days ago - love the size of the battery, the mah, the carto, th ect - the button drives me nutts. not sure what i'm doing wrong, but it is always turning itself off. and i am always pushing the button I generally have to push the button 5 or 6 times to activate it. one of the batteries is worse than the other it is almost like it goes into sleep mode after 3 drags. Is there anyway to order it with out the fancy switch? I have been vaping for 8 months, using both manual and auto batteries and have never had this issue.

Sounds like you have a really lazy Elite if it wants to keep going to sleep on you when your trying to vape! Verrrrry unusual for this particular device indeed!

And you can also use those wonderful Elite cartomizers on other batteries. For example, I keep a carto on one of my 3.2V eGo batts (using a 510-to-808/901 adapter). It provides a milder vape that suits some of my moods and juices.
