I'm looking for KR808D single coil tank cartomizers. I'd get them from V4L, but alas, out of stock again. Did get some dual coils, but looking for singles at 2.0, 2.5, or even 3.0 ohm. I've been searching vender after vender sifting through all the 510 hits. Not much luck for me in finding an alternate supplier of these besides V4L. Anyone got a supplier of these?

Don’t want to compromise my set up with an 808 to 510 adaptor. Want straight up SC 808 tank carto’s for my Artemas slim tanks coming in the post. (Love the Artemas tanks, work great and don't pull off with the locking collar.)

:(

You just need a punch tool and some stainless cartomizers. When I did still use normal cartos, I preferred the ones from Smokeless Image. Just remember that if you get a DC tank then you need XL cartos to fit in there properly.

I've yet to grab a carto-tank myself, but I've been researching them for some time.

I have been using the carto/tanks for about a year now and really like them.

Yeah I know I can punch my own I am just having a hard time finding an "XL" (thanks for setting the lingo on that there Johnnie Price) carto in single coil at a higher that 1.5 ohm. I am working at a higher voltage with a couple of old passthroughs. 5 volts. So, optimally I would like at least 2 - 3 ohms.

I got back into vaping after a three year hiatus and jumped right back in on the 808 bandwagon. Mainly because I still had a bunch of 808 equipment around. I didn’t realize it’s mostly a 510 world now. I will have to live with my reinvestment in the 808 selections or lack thereof for now until I one day switch over. I am enjoying the tank system though. It does work nice. It’s the lack of supply and selection that I find now to be a pain in the keester.

Thanks for input so far but still have not found a vendor with an XL single coil carto @ 2 ohms and above. What the fudge?!

On the Smokeless Image site go to the blank cartomizers and under the drop down menu you can choose regular or XL and black or stainless. 10 bucks (plus shipping) for a 5-pack of XL cartos, and if you use the coupon code voltsave at check out you knock 15% off.

Halo has XL blanks, but only in a 4-pack and you'd have to peel the paper.

Actually, theses cartos from Smokeless Image look superior with the coil at the bottom rather than in the middle and to the side. I assume the latter is how the V4L cartos are designed because I can see the wire down the middle. I am assuming the SS XL cartos are designed like their other cartos too. So, actually, a REALLY GOOD find!!!

Now some research as to where the holes go if that matters in respect to the position of the coil.
