Hi everyone, I have been vaping for a couple months now. I have the Inferno and been looking for an upgrade. I have narrowed it down to the Empire pv mod or the Reo mini 2.0 18490. I picked these two based on reviews and size. Im looking for something not too large but with a bang. Empire is impossible to get and the Reo is more costly. Im not looking for vv at this time. Still learning. Any advice or other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm a big fan of the Reo. I've got the Mini, and the Mini 2.0 (18490) would only be better. As I've said in many posts, it gives you all the benefits of dripping without any of the hassle or mess.

One of the great things about the Reo (other than their variable voltage models) is that they are 100% mechanical, which means no electronics, and are as dependable as an anvil. I bought mine used and it had been beat completely to hell and all the way back, and it works perfectly. And when I want to clean it, I take the battery out and stick the whole thing in the kitchen sink and rinse it off. Try that with an eGo or even a Provari.

Also, something I don't see mentioned anywhere, is the benefit of having your juice reservoir separated from the atomizer/coil. In a typical tank or cartomizer, your juice reservoir surrounds the atomizer/coil, which heats up, which in turn heats the surrounding juice. I think that plays a big part in turning your juice dark and "gunky" in a typical tank or cartomizer.

In the Reo, the juice is held in the plastic bottle completely away from the atomizer, and you just "squonk" the bottle when you want to feed some juice to the atomizer. So the juice in the bottle isn't being heated up like in a typical tank or cartomizer.

If you get 20 posts and get verified, you will have access to the classifieds here and there are often Reos for sale there. The Mini 2.0 doesn't come up as often as the Reo Mini and the Reo Grand, but I've seen them. Or just buy new. Depends on your patience level.

Here's a pic that will give you a sense of the size of the Mini compared to other devices. I think the Mini 2.0 is the same height as mine but is just slightly thicker.

From left to right: Apollo VTube (lavatube clone), Silver Bullet, Baby Bullet, KGO 1100mah and Reo Mini:
