One approach for keeping your atomizer from clogging is to disassemble your e-cigarette , and place your atomizer, battery connection side UP (or at a slight angle) and allow the un-vaporized liquid to drain onto a piece of tissue paper or absorbent cloth. When left overnight, you will be able to see that liquid has collected on the tissue. Soak in hot water for a minute or so, blow through the battery end. Do this every few days to keep your atomizer good as new!

Others never clean their atties. Opinions differ widely on this one!
I never rinse an atty.
Draining is harmless, though.

Re Carts - do watch the videos!

I never wash a vaporiser, just wipe with tissue and blow through the battery end to clear the build up once a day.
I also never try to fill carts by dripping liquid in while the filler is still in the inner cart. I always remove the filler then fill the inner cart three quarters full with liquid. Replace the filler and if necessary add another drop to make the filler glisten on top but not pool. That is the way to get the most out of one fill as if you just drip a little while the filler is in you only get a partial fill.
BTW I'm still using a two hole vaporiser that is around 8 months old!!!
