Emptying the Kayfun/Russian

I love my new Russian 91%, but I'm stumped on one issue. Is there an easy way of draining the liquid out of it, or getting it out with a syringe? The fill hole obviously doesn't work in reverse, or at least it hasn't for me. Any tips or tricks this fine community would recommend?

Just remove the top section and carefully pour into a bottle.

Syringe with Blunt needle is very cheap. Add one to your next order.

You can pickup a syringe and needle at any Tractor Supply or Drug store pharmacy. Just take the fill screw out and use you syringe to suck the juice out and either put it in a bottle or return the juice to the tank when you finish recoiling/rewicking.

Just one point about these needles, they will not be blunt tip needles. You will need to file or grind the point off of them so you do not stick yourself and give yourself a shot of juice the wrong way.

I take the screw out and slowly blow through the tip back into bottle.

I just cover the airhole with my finger take the top off and pour it out the top, just seems easier, no messing with fill hole screws and syringes...

If breaking down and rebuilding I take top cap off and pull the juice out with a syringe.

same here, close off the air hole with your finger so the juice won't run out and unscrew the top, pour it out

Thanks guys. I, for some reason, thought taking the top cap off would flood the inner chamber and cause the juice to all run out the air hole. Took the cap off and extracted with syringe and all is well. I was just concerned because the fill hole didn't exactly work in reverse as I expected it to, but you know....physics.

You can also hold it upside down and unscrew the base. This will empty it through the drip tip... which you probably want to remove first. You probably want something to catch the liquid in as well

As WattWick mentioned, I find it easiest to put my drip tip over my bottle, then unscrew the base and let it drain out the top.
