Danno, I too would like a new E-Power 18650 but I've been waiting for one with either a 5Amp switch as well as a VV switch anything happening with these ? Saw Chris posted something about some new manufacturer on the Ego VV Batts, any chance these guys could make a VV E-Power 18650 or one like it instead of SmokTech ?

We actually have 18650's...I am waitngn on a kit to photograph and place on the site. They are slightly different now...the 18650's do not have the switch part as a separate screw on piece. It is now part of the tube. The batteries slide in from the bottom.

We have them in stock but I don't want to put them up with the older pictures...

Any chance we'll see the 18650? I need the spare kit as my original had some issues. I'm still glad I got it, if I hadn't I wouldn't be missing that battery so much!

I guess I will just have to wait and see how it all goes together and what others think about them.

In post #5, it said that the whole bottom part on the 18650 was different now and the switch and the tube were one piece. That now takes away one of the best features of this device, the switch being something that could be replaced separately.

I have several tubes and cones, lots of batteries, and love them, but also loved that the switch, the only electronic part, could be replaced without replacing the whole thing. If the whole bottom is one piece now, and no replaceable switch, then I guess these I have would just become scrap metal?

Looks like it might be the end of a good thing, after just a few months.

My problem does NOT lie with GotVapes, but with the manufacturer,

Of course, we ladies have been dealing with this for years, just as soon as you find a lipstick or eye shadow that you absolutely LOVE, then the manufacturer stops makiing it, forcing you to buy more and more that do NOT work for you until you once again find a favorite, then they stop making that one. Marketing trick I guess !

Same thing here, spent so much $$$$ over 3 years finding a unit that just works for me, don't want vv, don't want higher voltage, just want one that works with 510 and my stock of batteries and is easy. Finally found it, unobtusive, cost effective, and works, then they go and change it all up.

Maybe I can find someone on classified with some original switches for 18650 unit that will sell to me.

Thanks for letting me rant, not my normal, but this news did not help my weekend any at all.

My 14650 ePower (purchased from another vendor) needed a new switch, so I ordered one and got the new switch. Also ordered a backup NoEgo/ePower, which came with the new switch as well. I'm not liking the new switch at all. The cutoff time is too short.

Just for clarity, this is a manufacturer issue and not an issue with GotVapes.

For the 14650 their is actually a new-new switch now. First one had the crappy rubber button. Second one they just replaced the rubber button with a plastic one. The third one now is even better. They redid the whole thing. It has a white LED now instead of the blue, and now the switch has a 5-click on/off feature which is really nice.

danno, Are you selling them?

Alright, I am super confused. I was originally looking for the new switch pictured below. I need the 18650 because all of my tanks, 2 batteries, and bottom tube part work. I figure that would go for around 10-15 dollars? But I can't find it separately.

So I've found a completely new one-piece body for $24 dollars. It looks very slick, something that could not be said for the original. The best part? No paint that will just peel off slowly anyway. A little steep for me, but hopefully it will not have the same blinking light of death issue. And again, I wouldn't be as embarrassed using that in public.

Seeing if I can beat the price, but I'm most likely getting this and I will report back either to this thread, or start a review thread.

Does the e-power spare kit at 22.95 come with the rubber button or the harder plastic/new button. I have one from awhile ago with the rubber button. My friend just got one from you that had the harder plastic button. I like his better, mine sticks down sometimes. I just wanted to make sure that the spare kit comes with the new harder plastic button before I ordered.
