What has been your equipment progression to get from smoking to happily vaping.

Here is mine:

CE4 hand me down with ego batteries
Nautilus tank with ego batts
Nautilus tank with spinner
Nautilus tank homemade 18650 mech mod and supper battery charger
Self made coils

I am now getting to where I finally enjoy vaping. I still have a long way to go but a lot closer. vaping has not been cheap and the equipment and learning curve steep.

Got an Ego Twist and some CE4s

Fell off the wagon and started smoking again.

Got back into it about a month ago and bought new gear

Vamo V5 and Aspire BDC and Kanger TS3
Provari V2.5 Polished stainless and Kayfun lite plus V2

Just got my first mech mod. Red Copper LE Stingray with a Stillaire dripper on the way.

Seems funny now, but a huge thank you to my local B&M sales rep. The Aspire Nautilus is what has made it happen for me, it still leaves a lot to be desired, but it gets the job done.

Due to the $$$ on the better gear, I have had to come up with some of my own to suit my needs and probably will continue to do so.

A new atomizer is in my future. DIY style I am thinking.

I started with blu's almost 5 years ago and hated them, I used them for about a month and went back to smoking. I quit smoking cigs over a year ago and switched to hookah. Hookah was a huge hassle and I had to dedicate over an hour of my time to it. In Feb this year I got a Ego C Twist and a cheap C4. From there I upgraded my C4 to a Mini ProTank 2. I upgraded the C Twist to a MVP V2 and got an Aspire ETS BDC. I then bought a SmokTech Caterpillar (due to recommendations from this site) and then got a Caravela 18350 Clone for it. There will be more in the future.

Disposables didn't work for me (3 years ago). I actually used a couple of them to get some discounts at a local B&M on some juice recently.

Still fighting to find the perfect blend as I work outside on gear I can carry and gear for home. Have a little but of everything and spending way more than my custom made analogs ... But I can at least breathe again.

Current best outdoor carry is an Aerotank mini ... Durable, new coils aren't leaking through, fair flavor, good air flow ... But ofc, Kayfun mini's on the way to cross compare as the clones pretty much cost the same.

Like most who hit the wall, the progression was pretty much, "Hey, this evolved ..." Clearo's etc. And whatever comes out next from the looks of it.

Cheers.

I started with a junk ecig, bought an ego and clearo two days later, tried to find a clearo that worked better for a few days, gave up on that, got a Kanger Protank, but the ego batteries were not cutting it, then I got a mech, put the Protank on that, bad idea, burned through coils fast, then got a genesis RBA, learned to build it right with mesh, and not that cotton cop-out crap, and I've been vaping on that for almost a year now. I could not be happier.

I started with an ego starter kit, then got an ego with a twist. It wasn't long before I got 3 ProVaris with Aspire Nautilus tanks. Now, I've got two Kayfun Lite+ tanks that I use on two of the Provaris. I'll continue to use the Nautilus until I get another Kayfun! I'll agree with the comment about the learning curve, but it's fun, isn't it?

In just under three months:

eGo (clone, I presume) from a B&M with CE4s

Vision Spinner II with Kanger Evod 2's

Vamo V5 with Aerotanks

Smoktech Magneto with IGO-W or KFL+ clone.

That doesn't account for a couple of experiments with equipment I'm no longer using, like Elego BCC mini & mega tanks - they were somewhere in there with the Evod 2 -> Aero progression. I also tried Blu's almost a year ago with no success; the charging unit died before I could even exhaust the five cartos that came with the starter kit (and never worked for anything but a slight reduction in number of analogs per day), so I scrapped the whole 'e-cig as substitute' idea at the time.

I think I'm happy with the IGO-W/KFL clone on the Magneto for 'high performance' and the Vamo and Aero's as the workhorse. I will likely get the IGO drilled out to 2mm, and maybe pick up a drip tip or two, but otherwise I'm pretty happy.
