ERA clone, super cheap

looks like china has cloned he era for real this time. possible co-op in the works. this for sure a top feed version but folks are asking if a bottom feed will be offered. all ss, and at $5 a piece its a steal. keeping fingers crossed that the bottom feeders weren't left out.

I didn't see whether or not it's sealed from pictures. Chances are it's just a copy of smok rda, which is a dripping atty

As feared it doesn't look they will offer a BF version, at least not in this co-op. It's a shame as these are so inexpensive. Anyone know how to easily mod a TF ERA for bottom feeding?

I would say it's close to impossible. The positive connection is a relatively thin screw, if I understand correctly, and steel at that. Hollowing it out would take some serious machinery. Hand drill or home drill press won't do.

Cheap is cheap that's what it is meant to be. The ERA is well made and designed to last. I won't be none surprised if this copy falls apart and is really made out of lead. Good luck with them Also I've had the good fortune of some extended conversation with the Era builder and can assure you his customer service is excellent I wonder if the chinese sweat shop will hive the same ?

I'm all in favor of buying originals, but some of the knock offs are pure gems. AGA-T, and A7 come to mind. All steel, great performers.

I have an aga-s that I've yet to coil. Pretty impressive package and included spare parts. And it seems pretty solid and it's much smaller than most RBA tanks. And it was most certainly many times less expensive than the "real deals."
