Most warranties ony cover the product for the original owner. The fact that it is 2nd hand probably means no warranty. Then you opened it up... Definitely voided any warranty it may have had. Can't help with the repairs. I'm not familiar with the mod. But it kinda sounds like you got corn-holed. Sorry, buddy. You can try talking to the seller but not sure how much good that will do. If you got it on eBay, you can lodge a complaint with the site and see if that helps. They purport to be big on buyer satisfaction.
