I caught a showing of "Cloud Atlas" on HBO a couple of months ago. It was weird and disturbing.

Many favorites, but the two authors that spring to mind immediately are Harlan Ellison and Carlos Castaneda for sci-fi and paranormal, respectively. Dr. Who, Star Trek, X-Files and most recently Grimm for tv. And I was just saying to a friend the other day that my two favorite films of all time are still alien and Blade Runner.
In the future, when vaping is accepted universally as safe and fun for the whole family, I see Paramount cleaning up by marketing a whole line of mods based on Star Trek props. I'll be first in line.
Oh yeah, and someone else mentioned THX-1138, which is still in my top 5 all time favorites.

It's odd that somebody just mentioned Harlan Ellison, because I was already gonna post this!! :D

A very young Don Johnson plays second fiddle to the Dog in this one,
who also get's the last line (and biggest laugh) in the movie!!

It's funny how 2024 seemed a long way off 40 years ago... LOL!!

Trivia Time: The dog in this movie, Tiger, was the same dog that was in the Brady Bunch TV series (which I never watched). There was supposed to be a sequel planned, but the dog died shortly after this film was made... :(
