I read the book before I saw the movie. Both are good, but the book is so much better.

I really loved that movie, but some of it didn't make any sense until I saw the "Director's Cut"... they put back some of the scenes that had been left on the cutting room floor the 1st time around...

Most of the 50's and up sci fi movies are never turned down when eating my pizza rolls.My favorite 2 critters are the "Predator" and "Pinhead" with the creature from the black lagoon a close second.Tryin to pin down a single movie is hard but the star wars series are up there.

Trivia Time: When they are showing some of the lyrics on the screen, and it has the line "with a stalk of jacaranda"... that is a reference to a tree that is abundant in this area and used to line many streets. They are covered in pretty purple flowers that make a big mess in yards and on cars when they fall off... Ha!!
