Ethyl maltol crystals

I read it somewhere, but I forgot to write it down. I want to mix my ethyl maltol crystal in pg to the same concentration as TPA cotton candy flavoring.

Is it 1/4 tsp. to 10ml pg? Not sure.

Yep you have it right.Well its the way most do it.Its the way Ive always read it was done and its how I do it.

Thank you. It seems like such a small amount to produce that kind of sweetness. This is my fave sweetner, and I really like that it is so kind to my cartos.

randomly popping in wondering.... is it necessary to put the crystals in pure grain alcohol ? can i substitute with PG instead?

Everywhere I've seen the crystals for sale say to put them into grain, so I figured they where talking about the crystals already in grain.

You can but I just use PG and let it sit in hot water for a while and that does the trick.

I don't put anything in PGA, it's just easier to dissolve things in really
