evaporation?

I've refilled about 15 cartos and had some success with them. But what I'm noticing is that towards the last couple that I vap, i'm not getting much vapor. I filled them all with the same amount of juice and can't figure it out. The only thing I can think of is maybe the juice is evaporating?

BTW, the ones that don't produce much vapor are only about 3 or 4 days old and i do put the plug back in on the top but i leave the battery side open.

Any suggestions?

The filler will absorb the liquid up if allowed to sit. I use a drip tip on my cartos, I top off regularly, similar to the way a direct dripper would. In addition, this prolongs the life of my carto. I use the same one for a good couple weeks.

I would say you are having some drying of the carto.
If you put both condoms back on, it should help.
Otherwise, try only filling enough for a day or two.

I agree with Amy and AG. Cover both ends after refilling and top off early and often. Adding a couple more drops of liquid to the cartos that aren't producing much vapor should do the trick if the cartos are drying out. Don't add too much because overfilled cartos don't vape well either.
