Saw,

I vape 47mg and never get a buzz, which is why I still allow myself a morning cig to prime the pump so-to-speak. If I don't get the good stuff first thing in the morning, I feel like I am playing catch-up all day and never get there. I also find that I can't vape like I smoke. I have to hang on to the vapor alot longer than I would with a quick puff and exhale with smoke. If you hold smoke for a few seconds, then hold the vapor for twice as long at least. Seems like one needs to coax the nic out more with vapor than with smoke.

So you are still smoking 1/2 pack a day along with vaping - but there is still a pack a day that you are avoiding by vaping! So YAY for you! ;) Concentrate on the positive, that is HUGE!!!!

I think you just need to find a flavor that will knock you off your feet! One that you really love! That was what got me off cigs! I found cappuccino and after that, cigs just tasted nasty to me. I can't even imagine going back to cigs after vaping butterscotch, capp, mocha, peach cobbler etc... You need to find your sweet spot and fall in love with vaping all over again!

Hang in there Saw - we are all with you!

This is what helped me quit analogues. I found the flavours i liked best and pretty much stuck with them.

Saw, I used nico gum and even snus to help stop smoking. I smoked when I first started vaping, but cut down a LOT. In time vaping took over the urge to smoke and I don't need the gum or snus anymore. If you want to stop smoking you can, but it's a process and let it unfold as your own personal guilt-free adventure. Vaping is about pleasure and if you need a cig or two, so what? Cutting down is a MAJOR health advantage! Give it time man. It's all good. :)

Yeah, I agree with others you're still down a whole pack. That is a grand accomplishment. I sometimes wonder how hard it would have been for me if I *could* still smoke cigarettes.

I vape 36mg all day. I don't get a head rush from it and never did. In fact, I've been thinking about trying some 48mg stuff cause sometimes even the 36mg over a year after not smoking cigarettes still leaves me wanting at times.

I meant to say I used nico gum and snus WHILE vaping, btw. It might help ya. Who knows? It did it for me.
