Ever have juice that reminds you of a certain time in your life?

I just got in an apple tobacco blend from ECBlends which tastes like those caramel apple pops, and as I was vaping it at work, it just kept reminding me of the first time I went with my girlfriend in October 2010 to a pumpkin patch we have in my area. Anybody else get that nostalgia type feeling when they vape a certain flavor?

For sure! I was vaping a flavor called Main Squeeze, its supposed to be a lemon citrus type vape but in my protank it tastes like Pineapple Marinos Italian Ice,reminds me of being a kid in my old neighborhood.

Oh yes ! I had this tobacco/orange juice that is VERY heavy on the orange, and very close to the real thing. It reminded me of these little cakes my grandmother always had at home.

Too bad it was too high in nic.

I have read somewhere, sometime, that the sense of smell is so directly connected to the brain that anything you smell is going to set up immediate associations with some of your oldest memories. So the emotions go hand-in-hand (or neuron to neuron?) with that.

Yup. I was vaping some Halo Tiki Juice and it instantly reminded me of the smell of this little craft barn my grandma used to take me to. Kinda like spicy fruit potpourri. Not a good vape, but it reminded me of a pleasant memory.

Probably one reason why "kids'" flavors are so popular. Attractive to the child in all of us, no matter how long ago.

Trick R Treat from Darkest Day smells exactly like I remember my Halloween candy bag smelling, just like all different types of candy mixed together. It tastes like Skittles mixed with candy corn too. It's sweet and strong, so I don't vape it often, but it instantly reminds me of Halloween as a kid. I plan on busting it out more come fall!

Certainly... though usually not a specific memory. More like summer as a kid, or Christmas-time, depending on the flavor. I had one that tasted exactly like my Mom's Secret Holiday Punch... Needless to say that bottle went FAST!

It's the only sense that Bypasses the Thalamus - so there is a more direct link with the brain.

Happens to me with perfumes and old girlfriends ;-)
