showcase here

I made the tekk mod with the evercool circuit...

Tekkeon mod WITH the EverCool circuit variable voltage 3.1v - 5.5v adjustable (adj screw is on bottom, right next to flashlight led) AND everything works on it.. it can charge cell phones/mp3 players... usb charging of internal 18650 battery's... flashlight works. It has no master switch on the vaping circuit just a fire switch... I charged two eGo mega battery's and still vaped for 9+ hours with it... what do ya think?

I didnt take any pics when I was putting it together because I was in a rush... I will on the next one for sure. For now, I can tell you I took the two 220uf 16v capacitors off the stock pcb in the tekk and relocated them on top (internally) of the usb output connector, that gave me enough room for the TI circuit and the pcb from BB's design. I soldered the pcb on the TI PTR08060w in an "L" shape so the TI was behind/on top of the mini USB and curved around down the middle of the stock pcb, wired down to the batt connectors and the pot (by the flashlight led) and up to the atty and switch... There is NO more room!! LOL... I've already sold it... and when the cash comes in I'm making at least two more... I'll take pics then... it works great... I've been charging my Android player and a friends eGo mega, and vapin with it... now its packed in a box ready to ship as soon as the check clears... (when it gets here). I already have another poster here wanting one but with the atty connector where the flashlight led is instead of where I put it on this first one. And another poster is tentatively agreed to send me a tekk unit and some trade items and I'm making it for him on the REAL cheap cause he's a fellow vet. It's all good! And for the good of vaping!!
Notice I have above PTR08060w... its the same as the PTR08100w except its lower profile and 6.25 amp and works like a champ!
Edit: the two caps for the EverCool circuit are SMD, sideways with a piece of resistor lead sticking up from the pcb for the + sides. Kinda in an "A" if you were looking from the top. The two pics below, I hope, show what I'm talking about...

i think i just found my next project. it has pretty much everything I wanted to incorporate in my next mod, except a touch sensor, but I only need room for a sot-23-6 SMD and 2 SMD caps.

Think there is enough room?

Plenty -- 3.1 x 3.2 MM?? Plus caps and a pot -- There is a confortable 15MM x 15MM x 7 MM space over the USB in alone not to mention other areas that a re quite suitable .....
