First off hello, ive been searching and learning quite a lot silently from this forum for the past week. And now i'm going to say where my vaping journey is.
After loving the taste of 2 disposable blu's menthol and non menthol, i decided it was too expensive, and might as well go with a 'real' setup so i could start trying all these yummy flavors (and its much cheaper than blu cartridges)
I started out with a 510 starter kit with the cool watermelon flavor in 10ml with 18mg nic
SRT 510 Starter Kit - Auto
since it comes with enough parts for 2, me and my roomate vaped all week (since monday) and by thursday basically got sick of the watermelon flavor. Too sweet, almost too much vapor (nasty thickly sweet vapor) we love and hate the taste.
we also started to get a nasty burning flavor but i think it was the wick wasnt wet all the time, even though i drowned it in juice a few times. anyway thats another post.
as far as flavors go, I really just want to replicate the blu throat hit, taste and feel. at least the feel for the flavors that obviously wont taste the same.
I ordered 4 more flavors from vikingvapor and got coffee, menthol smoke, chocolate banana and mint chocolate
theyre all so-so, but have that disguistingly strong and sweet and not harsh enough vapor feel to them
HOW CAN I REPLICATE THE BLU feel?
Can i dilute it? thin it out with VG? i dont know what to do, these flavors are delicious for a second but then just too much to handle. Cleaning my atty was a mess, refilling always sucks.. but im not complaining, im just trying to figure it out..
anyway, the coffee tasted amazing the first few hits, not tastes really dark and like some cheap office stuff? but i know it can be good? menthol smoke does not at all feel/taste like BLU magnificent menthol, tastes more like a vicks humidifier. chocolate banana is awesome and so is chocolate mint. But theyre all missing that UMPH.
how can i fix this? the sweetness/thickness is giving me a headache
i have a 510 atty/cartridge setup (constantly have to fiddle with getting the right amount of liquid on the wick, with a few drops on the atty)
Thanks!
