Me too. Does joyetech honor this as a warranty issue? At least I have a Spinner backup, but this is annoying. My unit is about 4 months old. I do use it a lot, but still...... I don't think a tap will fix it as the threads are completely worn. Weak design.

Edited to add: just checked online to see if there is any mention by joyetech of a warranty for this. It's hard to decipher (could their website be more difficult to read?) but it looks like they cover the device for 60 days through the original reseller.

My Protank still fits it, but Boge cartos....my favorite delivery system, just plunge past the threads to the bottom.

A Cave In Stirling, Scotland.
Just had this happen on my eVic head but I've got my own solution (not for a beginner).

I took the top cap off and disconnected the wires.
I then carefully drilled out the eVic original eGo connection and made the hole a very tight fit for a standard eGo connector.
I then ground a new eGo connector down from the back until it was the right length to fit the internals of the eVic.
I then hammered the modified connector into the hole so it was sitting at the right height for the thread cover.
Soldered the wires back onto the connector and glued the top cap back on (after drilling out the screws for holding the head in place no longer had room).

Now have a working eVic again with fresh threads and if it last long enough to happen again I can replace the eGo connector again.
