I got my new eVic today and I am using Vision STV Nova top coil tanks. 2.0 ohm coil. eVic is set at 4v and 8w. Apparently these tanks and coils can't handle it. Without going to rebuilds yet, what tank should I get that can handle it? I would prefer something reasonably priced since I like to have several filled with different flavors.

As as a side note, I have a ProTank 3 with an aero bottom on it that I can't stand. Even closed all the way, I don't like the "airy" pull. The Vivis give me a good solid feel to the pull.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

If you want to run 4 volts, it's best to get a dual coil tank, if you like citrus or cinnamon flavors make sure it's not plastic. If you want a cheap decent tank, and don't need glass the original iclear 30 isn't bad and if you want a tighter draw go for higher resistance coils 2.0 ohms and above.

What does a tighter draw and atomizer resistance have to do with each other? Granted, you probably wouldn't want to do much sub-Ωing if you like a tight draw, but plenty of people have their draw tight and resistances between 1Ω and 2Ω.

To the OP: In my experience there aren't very many commercial heads that can take the power higher than 7 or 8 watts. If you want to vape much higher than that, you're likely looking at something where you build your own coils.

I suspect you have a bad or misadjusted PT aerotank base on your PT3. I have recently fitted aerotank bases to most of my PT and Puritanks. I find that the ones I have will shut air flow off almost completely.
8 watts will burn most clearo coils. Turn the power down to 5.5 watts then increase to the juice sweet spot.
