Not sure, but maybe because of really high resistance coil? 3.2 ohm means you are getting 11,25 watts at the max 6 volts the evic can deliver. But a 3.2 ohm coil is probably very short and/or and thin resistance wire, so you might not have much surface where the juice can vaporize. That might be the reason why even at 11 watts you're not getting much vapor. Power in watts equals squared voltage divided through resistance in ohm (Watts = Volt^2 / Ohm). You should try with a lower ohm coil.

EDIT: I didn't know about this but apparently these are meant for high voltage APVs or something?
"Available in 1.7 or 2.0 ohm low resistance for use with 3.7v, 3.0 ohm for 4-6v and 5.0 ohm for 7+v APV's."
Single Coil XL Tank replacement 510 cartomizer for 3.5 and 6ml SmokTank XL, UDCT, Artemas - w/flange and 1, 2 or 3 holes.

thats the reason i purchased a 3.2 ohm because it was saying online that it can be used at higher voltages and produce more vapor... but my aerotank is 2.0 ohm and i can run it at higher voltages and produce more vapor and throat hit....

im really confused on all this carto stuff.. feeling like i wasted money on a IBtank and the cartos are barely keeping up with my aerotank

Is it just me, or does is seem like the Control Wheel is feeling better on this thing? I've got 9,027 "Puffs" on my Supreme now, and my Control Wheel seems better/more controllable than I remember it being when it was new.

It's not just you. I'm just about to hit 7000 puffs and I can already use the menu and wheel in one hand. I know people are upset over the orientation of the wheel ie; clockwise will turn it up, as a lefty I find it fantastic.

3 Volts for both of those
Wow that was quick. :) Have you tried them on the Evic Supreme then? I thought you were a rebuildable fellow. ;) I need to be sure, because I paid out for a Sigelei 20W after being told that the flat DC signal would mean it didn't matter that it couldn't stepdown voltage wise (because I could vape higher without burning). But I pretty much can't use it unless I put a nearly flat battery in it because it burns my juice. I don't want another useless (for me) mod.

And yeah, I rebuild everything. But I have more experience rebuilding Kanger coils than anything else. I spent a lot of time trying to get the best performance out of Kanger coils, especially on low power eGo batteries. You shouldn't have to worry about screwing any stock coil on top of the eVic Supreme, it's not like the rest of the high power mods that are available at the moment: it'll do both.

My wife got me the unpolished Kir Fanis tube set which I was lusting for but couldn't quite justify for myself! I'm preferring the look and feel on the regular eVic currently. Here's the updated family:

Left to right:
- Supreme for heavy lifting
- eVic with Kir Fanis for longevity
- eMode (basically a slimmer, screenless eVic) for out and about
- vv v3 (not-an-eVic!) backup

How's the eMode working for you? That thing has always interested me. Oh and btw, love your eVic with the KF tube set. They're wonderfully made for the money aren't they? I use my set on the eVic-S almost exclusively now (see my earlier pic). The eVic-S still amazes me just how good it is. I've got a 1.3 ohm microcoil in that Taifun GS in the pic. Little cotton in it for wicking. Set the eVic-S to 15 watts and it makes the Boba's Bounty taste wonderful. I tried the thing at 25 watts and a lower ohm build on an RDA and holy crap it puts out. Not my normal vape build just goofing around. Yeah, the eVic-S is worth the money. Good device.

Yes I agree the KF tubes are outstanding - well made, solid, great feel and balance in hand, gives the device a quality look. Highly recommended.

I like the eMode because its smaller and less scary for non-vapers when I'm out and about! It has 2100 mah 16650 battery which allows a slimmer design (18mm) but still decent vape time. It has basically the same functions and similar performance as the original eVic including RVW modes, but no screen so you have to use myVapors software to configure advanced functions or check resistance/puffs. Only problem for me is there's a gap with some toppers but no top cap to close that gap. Also its expensive, the cheapest I could find just the control head/battery/tube was about $85 delivered, but to me the eVic-type functionality combined with smaller form-factor was worth the extra.

Took my black Evic Supreme (+ Ehpro black kayfun lite) camping, and then to the beach last weekend. Did I think this was a bad idea? Um, yes. Sort of predictably, I managed to drop it in stream, and full immersion. Immediately disassembled, left to dry 12 hours in sun and heat. Still working. Phew. Off to the beach, next managed a good drop in the sand. Ok takes a bit of work to blow out the sand from the control head! But we're still functioning. Overall, gets a vote for pretty solid build quality from me. (but no, it won't go camping again).

Try a little Rayon wick for your Boba's. it'll taste about the same, if not better, and you won't have to re-wick/dry burn as often.

Huh. I'd have never thought of Rayon. I mean I realize it's made from wood fibers (cellulose) but never associated it as a wicking material. I'll give that a try. You're right about the disassemble, clean, dry burn then more cotton thing. Especially with Boba's. Usually only get two tanks with the Taifun and have to do it. Boba's for as good as it is will gunk up a wick and coil fast. Thanks for the hint!! Oh and on the eMode I'm with ya. I like the smaller stuff when I'm going somewhere and don't want to freak the general public out. I've been using an Innokin CLK with a Kayfun mini lately and as good as the CLK is it's just a bit anemic. eMode sounds good but I'm with ya on the price. It just seems a bit high. I'll just hang out and wait a bit to see if the retail price comes down. Or maybe get lucky and someone will put one up on the classies. Thanks man.
