Hi all,

well this weekend has seen me scratch my head in the search for a suitable holder/case for my eVic.

I was initally on the hunt for a torch holder, something similar to those for Surefire flashlights.

My search took me to many suppliers website for police and military equipment. The thought of something secure on my belt to hold and keep my eVic handy was my first plan. Also look at police baton holders if your interested in this kind of holder.

After searching around some carboot sales for one, or some kind of utilitiy pouch/tool holder I started to think about designing and making my own, or finding a custom manufacturer of leather products or nylon. I'd personally prefer black nylon for a masculine look.

I eventually, and as recently as 20 minutes ago found an aweome looking case - one that can hold a spare battery, tank and bottle of juice along with my eVic....

Its a Cigar holder, built for being run over by a Truck at a 100m depth in the ocean lol...

Here's a pic or two, and I'll let you know how good or bad it is when it arrives this week.

You can buy it from the USA for $17.99 but I ordered it here in the UK for £19.99 incl. postage.

These cigar caddies are likely rebranded "Herf-A-Dor" products, and they're available in different sizes, either less than or multiples (layers) of five. Cigar widths are measured in ring gauge size, which is the number of sixty-fourths of an inch, and most carriers size for cigars up to 56 (about 22 mm). You can go a bit above that in a groove if what's in the grooves next to it is a bit less, i.e. a 24 mm mod between 18 mm batteries or 19 mm carto tanks or ProTanks.
