Hi. I purchased a EVIC V2Mini and on the box it has two mouth pieces. One is narrow with a sort of spiral inner. The other is wider and clear tunneled. Can anyone tell me what and why the difference? Thanks
The Evic V2 Mini is a battery/mod.
You have a tank that came with that mod and yes, it comes with two mouthpieces (drip-tips).
The spiral inner one changes the feel of the vapor and reduces spitting of the liquid from that design of tank. Try both. It's personal choice, but some of the coils your tank uses (the atomizer heads) are prone to spitting liquid. You can tell us if the spiral one makes a difference.
My guess is that's the cubis tank. The cubis has a tendency to spit a little (especially with the lower ohm coils like the 0.5 ohm). Some folks can live with a little spitting, some can't. It's a personal preference thing. The spiral one will likely have a bit more restrictive draw, but there shouldn't be much difference.
Yup, that's why there are two. I can tell you I also received both drip tips with my Joyetech AIO but found neither of them helped with the spitting from the tank. I ended up using a narrow 70mm tip that I received as a freebie and that helped best with the spitting problem. Now I've retired that AIO for *emergencies only* and I'm not too happy with Joyetech anymore. Got a second Joyetech product here and it is really misbehaving - an eGo One VT. Grrrrrr.... will probably be a while before I buy anything else made by them. (lol.... yeah, I do expect them to last more than 2 weeks)
You will be surprised how the performance of driptips work. If you get spitting a longer drip tip might be better. Try several of different types. Everyone has different preferences.
generally if you have splitting, you have a bit of flooding, especially after refilling... if it fits, a q-tip down the chimney and into the coil does wonders. raising the wattage by even one or two can help as well.

I quit the Cubis tanks. Now I am trying the Tron - S with CLRs.
There have been some issues with Joyetech products over the years. Many of of suffered somewhere down the line. The only saving grace is the relative low cost. Sadly, that was not the case with the early EVICs at over $100 for something which lasted only a few short months.
I didn't buy a mod from them for nearly two years. I don't suppose I will again although the EVIC mini VTC box mod has been OK. 10 months so far.
Thanks guys. Been insightful as usual. I have been playing with different coils and settings to find my sweet spot. I find with this tanks the BF 0.5 DL reduces the spitting a great deal. Also letting it sit for a few minutes after re filling has helped.
My Tron tanks arrived. The TC actually works! It's astonishing... a factory atomizer head that really works.
Miracles do happen.
I wonder how long before it all goes horribly wrong.
