When boosting, there are efficiency issues. As you go up in voltage it exponentially lowers the available boosted amperage output while increasing the amperage drawn from the battery. I believe they have safe-limited the
device to~15watts. The problem with mass produced units is there is only so much that is feasable for a given price range. You can bet your lunch tomorrow that the eGo-vv cant do 15watts for long(if at all), top that off with a much larger, and replaceable battery, with all the whiz-bang software and you have a better end product... at least that how I think they justified it........
