Looks like theyd both work for me but the evics 15$ more but u get the one tAnk and 2 coils. My problem is ive never used temp controlled or nickel coils. Is it easy to use?

Yes, it's easy to use.

Was it you asking about Pegasus? The Evic VT is a much more advanced mod and does temp control... for me, that makes it a better deal.

I wouldn't buy either, as it happens. Aspire = too expensive. Evic = is it reliable?

$1,000 question.

I'm still deciding. I'll probably go with the Joyetech if I can get it cheap enough.
I only buy Joyetech and Eleaf on the undestanding that if it breaks I won't take it back to the shop. In the recycling....

Found it on eBay for 55$ with the ego one mega and 2 coils. Also do you know if the sony vtc 5 will work in the joytech?

The real Sony VTC 5 is one of the best batteries ever, probably. The Evic mini takes 18650, so yes...

Is it located in the US, not China? Good seller?

I'll go look on ebay UK.

Its coming from California and the ratings for the seller are 99.7%. Seems like a good deal for 55$ for a full kit.

jeez, you guys don't spend much time on pricing research do you? also, i think joye mods are very reliable. im still vaping on my original bevel top evic and i love the thing. i say go for the evic. oh, and i'll help u both with prices, sheesh...

ecigaretteempire.com has the full kits for $48.95 (this is probably the best deal i've found, but always check ebay, with US-ONLY, BUY IT NOW ONLY, and PRICE + SHIPPING = LOWEST FIRST checked before purchasing from a vendor's website. Things pop up very cheap on ebay here and there.

HERE are the rest of the good prices I found when comparing sites: (kit prices R4 original design kit, not updated tron kit, unless otherwise stated)
fluidvapes has the full kits for $60, as does HoosierEcig, vaporbeast, and directvapor.
sweet-vapes.com has them for $55 bucks. They have the tron (updated tank/firmware) version for $59.00
you can get a white full kit from myvaporstore for $53.95 or the tron tanked (75w upgraded) kit for $57.95
you can get the mod for $43.95 from myvaporstore, and then get a genuine free US shipped kanger subtank for $16 on ebay.
alternatively, you could find the ego one tank for around 14.99 free us shiped on ebay as well.
MyFreedomSmokes also has the mod only for 47.95...
evape.us has the full kits for 54.99 in stock at the US warehouse.

in my opinion, the trick to buying gear, is buying from a website that has the MOST THINGS that you want, at the best prices. Otherwise, if you break-up the sites your ordering from to get the best deal on that new RDA u want, another site for those cheap $9.99 replacement coils, another site for the batts, your going to wind-up paying more in shipping costs. So, my advice is even if u buy from a site i listed above with the kit at a higher price, if the website has everything you want at good prices, it's probably worth it to order everything from there. I chose MyVaporStore, they've got a great selection/good prices. But, i was in the market for a 2nd, backup mod, and they had the one i wanted at a good price, plus the RDA I like for cheap, and 2500mAh batts 4cheap. They have the iStick40 watt device for $25 right now, for instance. Alternatively, you could go with DirectVapor and get a Kanger Subox Nano for $40 bucks right now... The trick is always to find the site that has everything you want at the lowest prices.

if i were ya'll, and ya want to save money, you could grab the mod only and then buy a $12.99 innokin Isub tank on top.
Alternatively, you could do the glass tank Isub G tank for around $20 more. or an Isub Apex for $25-26 more. A lot of people like the Isub tanks more than the ego one tanks. but these are typically people that enjoy a big airy draw and a direct-to-lung type of hit. That's why these tanks may be a good choice 4 you. Of course alternatively, if you enjoy dripping, you can get an RDA for 5-6 bucks on a lot of websites. Good luck w/your shopping endeavors.

I would rather drink battery acid than vape on a nickel coil but I have an allergy to Nickel.

The Evic VTC MINI has the option of Temperature Control; but that doesn't mean you have to use it. If you want to do temp control and not use Nickel you can do TC with titanium wire or Stainless steel wire.

Kanger and Asolo, and others are trying to get Kanthal to work in Temperature Control too.

Great time to be a Vaper if the US Govt. Doesn't do something stupid. I made the Govt irrelevant by using RTAs (Rebuildable Tank Atomizers) and making my own EJuice

unfortunately, if you want to buy from wakeandvape, you'd have to wait until they get the kits back in stock. right now they're completely out of both colors for both kit and mod-only purchases. I scoured google's first 25-30 pages for my skimpy little price list, and my list is all IN-STOCK devices/kits. I do just want to quickly recommend you check at MVS (myvaporstore) as I find they have 1 of the best diverse product selections of any US shop. Good luck with both of your hunts. You've got this! In the end, if the device works to keep you off cigs, you went to the right website to order it from! :)

Pegasus is a joke for TC. I have version 2 which has auto switch over. You have to vape it and remove battery a couple times to get it to switch. I do not enjoy the burnt hits in the process. No way to adjust the watts on heat up speed. It is a real botched version at TC. Suppose to be a version 3 that has a menu that you can manually switch it to TC. Have not seen them out as of yet.

eVic is light years ahead of all other companies when it comes to TC. Love my eVic VT. Don't have the VTC yet but thinking about it because TC does SS wire also. I would say this one is your best and safest bet.

Don't over look the IPV D2. It work very well at TC control also. Wife loves hers and does not seem to have any glitches. Seems to be good on batteries. Very solid unit.

I also have the Segelei 150 TC. It takes 2- 18650 for longer run time. It works very good but very simple and a no fuss menu. A good choice also but a lot more expensive.

I am still out on a limb about TC. Do not find a whole lot of difference for me. I like it for my wife because she never pays attention and has always vaped her tanks dry and then hands them to me and says "it is screwed and not sure what happened". LOL

CHEERS!

I found an eVic mini VT!

Guess where?... from the dark side themselves... Joyetech.

They have cut the price for 5 days and, well, I can earn the cash this afternoon selling off all my suspicious green O-ring Vaporfi tanks. $60 subtank, anyone?

:)
+1 more for the Evic VTC MINI.

I own both and it depends what important to you. The Pegasus mini is smaller and probably does temp control with stainless better. The minim resistance is .1 rather than .05 of the evic mini. Evic mini is heavier and bigger but probably has a more durable paint finish at least in white and lower minimum resistance. The Pegasus mini has on a couple Of occasions not triggered the new coil setup which is a problem as there's no way to manually change it. The evic if it doesn't trigger just shows the new resistance. And works.

Pegasus mini has more of the rattlesnake syndrome with temp control.

They're both pretty good mods for the price and size. If I had to choose one i couldn't right now. Jury is out. If it's going in a pocket the few mm thinner Pegasus mini is probably easier to pocket and substantially lighter. Mod it's going in a purse the evic mini will stand up to bouncing around better.

I can provide w couple real world weights and such if that helps you. Or if you have any specific questions let me know. I'm about to do a video review on the odyssey kit which is the Pegasus mini and triton mini tank.

Please note I'm talking about the Pegasus mini which isn't out separately yet but you may want to wait for its substantially smaller than the evic mini. The Pegasus mini seems a lot better than the full size pegasus.

Have a look at this. If size is important to you. It's not the greatest shot. The Pegasus mini may be lighter than the istick 30 and roughly the same
Depth and width. A bit taller. It's incredibly light. Easily the lightest removable 18650 mod I have. The battery door is magnetic and on the bottom. It has a sort of arm that slides over the battery like a record player.

The evic mini
Is software upgrade able which is a big plus. And it's relatively small in its own right but not as small or Light as the Pegasus mini or istick.

Sorry I can't give a firm answer. I guess if I was going to have one is get the evic mini. Even though the Pegasus mini is good. The user upgradable evic mini wins. It's just seemingly more durable and for example the software update they already put out made it much better. So in the future it may get another great update.

The Pegasus mini has Glitched on me a couple of times which was frustrating and they are what they are. Until they release a second revision nothing's going to change. And they can't fix the hiccups I've experience which although rare. Have been there. Specifically you have to change the tank when the mod is awake. And you have to remove the tank base when replacing a coil. Which I don't always find convenient.

Sorry for a bit of a ramble. You really won't go wrong with the evic mini. The Pegasus mini the jury is still out. I've only had it just under a week.
