1) yes, the VTC Mini will run the Cleito tank just fine, just remember if it is an upgraded one (firmware 3.0 or higher) it is a 75watt device, not upgrade you are at 60 or 65watts max.
2) Efest batteries can be a crap shoot, you don't know what actual battery is under their re-branded wrapper and they over spec them in their amp limits, if the battery says it can do 35 or 40amps, assume the max continuous amps the battery can supply is 15 to 20amps, assuming the lowest discharge. If you are under 20 to 30watts, the Efest is fine for now, if you are going to stay under 50 to 60watts, the LG HG2 (chocolate brown) and Samsung 30Q (Lavender) will suite you well (20amps CDR @ 3000mah 35 to 40amp Short Pulse Discharge Rate <---I'll give you two guesses what C Bin Discard is under that Efest wrap), up to 75 watts then look at Sony VTC4 (2100mah @ 23 to 30amp CDR)

Another question since you mentioned the LG HG2, I have heard that in terms of safety combined with the evic it is as good as it gets is that true ?

So I just got a used evic Vtc mini with an efest 3000mah battery, I was wondering a couple of things:
First of all is the Aspire Cleito a good option with this model ?
Is the Efest a dangerous battery ? I keep reading alarming things on this site.
Will it work OK with my old nautilus mini tank ? Until I get a new one

Thanks everyone.

I'm using the eVic VTC Mini with the Nautilus Mini & it works quite well for MTL vaping. My favorite tank atm is the Joyetech Cubis. 3 coils are included in the kit. SS316 .5 ohm & 1.0 ohm plus a 1.5 ohm Clapton. The .5 and 1.0 ohm work in Temp SS316 or Power modes. The 1.5 ohm is Power mode only. The .5 ohm is a good restrictive DTL and the 1.0 & 1.5 ohms are excellent MTL hitters. The kit also includes 2 drip tips for each style of vaping. I hope this is helpful... :D

I have a vtc mini and it's been fine. If you are going to be responsible for choosing your own batteries I believe it's important to be able to do a watts law calculation from memory and understnd how the results apply to the battery. volts x amps = watts. The evic firmware cuts off power when the battery voltage has declined to 3.1 or 3.2, I forget exactly. 3.1 x 25 amps = 75 watts meaning if you are going to run the device at 75 watts you want a 25 amp battery. I neverr go above 30 watts so 3.1 x 10 amps = 30 watts so I feel comfortable using a 20 amp battery because the mod never draws more than 10 amps. The difference is called head space. Plenty of head space means less stress on the battery.

I tend to keep my battery charge topped off so amp draw is minimized. Right at the moment the charge on my battery is 4.15 volts x 7 amps = 30 watts meaning when I ask for 30 watts at that voltage the draw is only 7 amps, which is 1/3 of the 20 amp rating of the LG HG2's I favor.

Efest batteries are terrible.

Switch to the Samsung 25r
LG HG2

MY BATTERIES of choice.

A LOT if people like LG hb2, or Sony VTC batteries.

@Mooch , @Baditude

Are tge battery experts. Mooch has an extensive blog with tests of different batteries.

I vape at .8 ohm and low wattage. They work PERFECTLY in my two eVic VTC mods.

The original release was 60 watts max. But upgrade THR firmware anf go to 75 watts.

I would really suggest you check out mooch',blog. He hss forgotten more than i know.

Correct. Stressing batteries is not a healthy lifestyle choice.

I tried out the cubis, I hated the fact it spitted juice out, every few puffs.

What is considered high for the nautilus mini ?
Lately, manufacturers have been inscribing the ohm and recommended power ranges for their product on the coil or on the packaging. I found the following on the Aspire website:

Available resistance: 1.6ohm (3.3v-5.0v), 1.8ohm (3.3v-6.0v) - See more at: Aspire - Aspire Nautilus Tank Clearomizer
