Thank you, this eased my mind, I was rather worried in the beginning, probably fell victim to the fear of all those news stories of people ending up with half their face gone.
Welcome. You're right to be cautious. Lithium batteries cram a lot of power in a small space and can be dangerous if mishandled. You don't mention a charger. If you're contemplating one, think Nitecore or xtar brands. You can charge in that mod, but I don't recommend it. I think stand alone chargers do a better job and are safer. Plus, you can just swap for a fresh battery that way, rather than being tethered to the wall whilst charging.

Thank you everyone for your helpful guides, now my final question are there anymore thing I should know about before heading out to finally get set back 100euros ?
that's a good rig, it should serve you well. But if your local vape shops allow you to taste test juice before buying, it's worth spending some time on.

After a while searching for an upgrade for my now rusty, and scratched istick I believe I should upgrade to the evic VTC mini 75w with the tron tank, however, I can't settle on which battery to buy, also what I should know before getting in the world of sub-ohm vaping. I have read one too many horror stories, so I don't want to buy it without knowing the potential risks (assuming there are any). Any tips on proper use of the device are welcome.
Samsung 25R would be a safe, yet inexpensive, bet. From what I've heard, the Evic VTC Mini is still a beginner friendly device, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Furthermore, the Tron S tank is the better one when compared to the 60W version.

TBH, I never even considered the possibility of a spare charger since the website stated that it can be charged through the evic itself. Is that unsafe ? *resumes panicking*
I wouldn't say unsafe. But probably less safe. Batteries are unstable while charging. Dropping it while charging can cause a problem. This is less likely with a stand alone. You vape the mod, not the charger :)

That's what it's USB was intended for. You only have to be worried about charging via USB on more expensive mods, such as the ones with DNA board.

Speaking of which:
@suprtrkr is the RX200 safe for USB charging. I know it's not advisable for the DNA version.

I might skip the charger part, atleast for now, since I have no way of getting my hand on one atm. Also,I rarely vape while charging almost never. Furthermore, I have already found out my preferred juices but thanks for the tip, however I am unsure if they will change now that I will move to a stronger device.

I honestly can not say, Kay. As I said above, it is probably less safe, but not unsafe. For my part, I never charge my batteries in the mod. Never. I don't own a fixed battery mod precisely so I can avoid it. In addition to the safety aspect, I believe the electronics in a stand alone charger take better care of my batteries than a dime-sized charging board in a mod can. Batteries are expensive and dangerous if mishandled. To me, it simply makes sense to take the best care of them I can. A decent charger costs no more than a pair of good batteries anyway.

Actually the built in charger on the VTC Mini is pretty safe, mine stops charging at 4.18 Volts, my wall charger charges to 4.22..

Most accidents that happen with batteries happen when they are charging (not just vaping batteries laptops/cellphones etc etc) so don't use it while it's plugged in, getting a second battery and charger is a smart idea though, you can charge a battery while you're vaping and swap them when your battery gets low ;) or if you go somewhere where you won't be able to charge you can bring the second battery with you for a backup :)

Truly, you should be fine. Li batteries deserve to be treated with respect, but there is no need to fear them. You charge the LiPo pack in your cell phone without a second's thought, do you not? If you are worried, they make Lithium charging bags, made of some fire-resistant material. You can plug in the mod or charger, bung in in the bag, and place it on top of your stove or a metal cookie sheet or something. Another good option is to go to a surplus store, buy an empty ammunition can, and charge in that. You will find the taste of juices will change, sometimes subtly, sometimes a lot, with a different power level. But what you really need to watch is the nicotine level, if you use it. More powerful equipment will mean you're getting a lot more nic per draw because you're getting more vapor. You might want to cut that down a bit.

What is the best option for 9mg juice ?
Hi,
1.0 is a good choice. I would say 9mg juice is also a good choice. I think the Samsung 25R batteries would work great. Then all you will need is a good charger I would say the Nitecore D4 would be my choice because later on your going to need to charge 4 batteries at a time. I made the mistake of buying a small 2 battery charger when I started. Buy backups your stuff will fail. It will be late Sunday evening when it happens. You will be SOL.

Dna 200? Charging via usb is perfectly safe and usually the only way people do it with lipo/lifepo4. The dna 200s that have 18650s I would only use the mini usb for firmware, but charging out of the mod is the reason they use 18650s for quick swap lol. I might build another one with 3 lg hg2s so i dont have to wait on my 1050 lifepo4 to charge all the time when vaping 60w.

I'm a big fan of Samsung25r and LGhg2 batteries

You are going to love the eVic VTC Mini Version 3.

If
Has an amperage metter on the screen.

My build is .79 ohm. At 12.5 watts that is only pulling 4.1 amps.

That will make vaping safer if they care to keep an eye on the amps and not push the battery beyond its limits.

When you try to pull 24 amps out of a 20 amp battery you are begging for trouble.

I recommend a real battery charger instead of charging through a mod. Sometimes when charging a battery there are incidents. I would rather have my battery ruin a charger than ruin my mod.

It's not necessarily unsafe. I did it a few times before getting a charger. However there are power surges and batteries get warm as they charge. Sometimes batteries have incidents. I would much rather have a battery vent and ruin my charger than have a battery vent and ruin my mod.

If a person doesn't have a backup mod and his mod is ruined during charging; its back to the old Stinkies until that person gets another mod.

Always have some sort of a backup just in case. If you are real careful as I am you have a backup to a backup.
