evic vtwo RDA question

I'm still pretty new at building my own. I was wondering if anyone has experience with an rda on a Evic Vtwo. I just built a pair of 26g nichrome N80 twists that were reading at 0.11 ohms.

I was just wondering if people can give me pointers on where to safely draw my limits with the vtwo.

I also have decided to go nowhere near bypass mode until I am extremely comfortable with ohms law... And I'm pretty weak at that right now.

My battery is an LGDBHG1865 (3.7v, 3000mAh). I read that the max discharge is about 30v and my rig shows 22.2 when set to 62.5w. Pretty sure I'm in the clear, but I want to check in with some experienced folks before I run the chance of blowing my face off cuz I got careless lol

I assume you mean LG HG2 which has a 20 amp CDR. The resistance of the coil does not factor into amp draw on a regulated mod. The numbers you see on the display relate to the volts and amps on the atomizer side of the regulator chip. What you need are the numbers on the battery side of the chip which can easily be calculated using some simple maths or steam-engine. As a rule of thumb a 20 amp battery is good for 60 watts per cell, so in your case up to 120 watts.

I think @VOIDeater76 has the Evic VTwo Mini, as the Evic VTwo has an internal battery. That would mean only one battery, so the limit with the LG HG2 would be 60 watts.

Sorry, I'll try to be clearer. There are two Evic VTwos: the Evic VTwo, which has an internal battery, and the Evic VTwo Mini, which has a single replaceable battery. The OP said they were using the Evic VTwo, but since they're talking about the LG I assumed they actually meant the Evic VTwo Mini. As the Mini has only one battery, the limit would be 60W, not 120W.

Yes, it's the mini.

But yeah, it is currently only letting me go up to low 60w. That's what drew my attention when I hooked up this build because my mod goes to 75 normally. I assume that's a safety feature kicking in

I guess I'm asking if I should avoid using a setting that draws more than 20 amps (based on mod readout), or where I should draw the lines for safety with this battery and mod

For a single 20 amp battery 60 watts is a good limit. If you are interested in seeing why read the article I posted. The read-out on the mod is showing the numbers on the atomizer side of the regulator chip. You are interested in the numbers on the battery side, particularly when the battery is nearly discharged as this will be the highest amp draw.
