EVO/M401/Pilot all the same?

I don't know, but the M401 from absolutelyecigs.com seems a lot cheaper, and I can't complain about quality!
The bumble bee at dietsmokes is sexy as hell. THen there is the "hybrid" at PS. Not sure what the difference is.
M401 is the model of the ecig. Pilot and Evo are both M401s. They're just different "brands" of the same product. The pilot's battery has been programmed to give you a longer draw. I think the evo battery lasts a little longer. Their atomizers both give a little different result too. Right now im trying to compare PS's Pilot and DM Bumble bee M401. I can't see to figure out the difference.
After watching the video of ps pilot and intellicigs Evo I'm liking the Evo a bit more as an option to buy. I just didn't realize they were UK based and it would also mean getting an adapter *sighs* Although with the current exchange rate I'm loving the price!

Same same same and same. M401 is an M401 is an M401. Atomizers are the main factor when it comes to ecigs and no 2 atomizers work the same. It is all luck of the draw when it comes to atomizers. Resellers simply put there own name to each ecig they sell. Same product different name.

Thanks for clearing that up ProStreet you are a doll. I thought the Evo and M401 were the same product just like the RN4075/DSE901 and so on and so on and so on. This is all so confusing for us noobs. I'm glad there are people like you out there to help sort out the confusion
So am I correct in assuming that the parts for the EVO, Pilot, generic 401's are all interchangeable then?

ProStreet, I agree and disagree with you about the 401's all being the same.

After over a month of vaping these things, and heavily, I might say, I am leaning more and more for the non Evo. I just can't stand that two minute cutoff!
Although I believe that the two minute cutoff extends the battery charge and the atomizers. That's why I'm buying more non-Evo 401's. They will not last as long, but as long as I've got enough batts and atts, I should be fine!
Just my .02 cents.

Yes, Angela, all parts are interchangable. You'll have some weird color combinations, but that's what's fun!
Could someone please explain the 'cut-off' more clearly? I keep reading about it bt cannot find out exactly what it means
The cut off, if I've read the forums correctly, which it's possible I haven't - is a safety feature so you don't overdose on nic and also is to help extend bat life.

The cut off happens if you inhale for longer than 5 seconds on the EVO and 7 seconds on the Pilot. If you inhale longer than this the device will stop working for 2 minutes.
I have both the EVO and Pilot and have never reached this cut of point on either.
Out of the two I prefer the EVO as to me if gives a constant hit where as the Pilot can be a bit hit and miss at times, just my opinion though.

Gadgetmonster is right. 5 second puff on the Evo and it shuts off for two minutes.
When I'm vaping, I'm using it like a pacifier. I always have two with me, because of the Evo and the shutoff. If I'm just vaping the Pilot, I'm all set, seems I don't hit the 7 second vape. But the Pilot batts run down sooner because of the constant vaping.

Thanks for clarifying that. It seems like the length of a 'drag' is gong to have to be expertly timed, since I've read that you need to take long, smooth drags, so timing the perfect 4.9 second drag appears to be the goal! LOL
Hi Angela, I have the Evo & I've never hit the cut off point. Also, keep in mind vaping is very different to smoking. You need to drag much softer when vaping which can take some getting used to. Enjoy
