Hi, im new. Have a few questions

Hey all,

I have been prowling the forums for a few days now and have spent a lot of time in the video reviews.

After extensive research (late night youtube) I finally decided to pick up an Intellicig EVO. I have been using it for two days now and its great, no problems at all, just waiting on more carts and juice now!

So, typically as I like my gadgets I naturally continue to look for other more stylish devices as the the EVO black is out of stock at the moment. I see to have found myself stuck, I see lots of reviews on the M401 Pilot? correct me if im wrong with model numbers etc and the DSE 901.

So the Pilot seems pretty solid and in the same sort of review rating as the EVO but i can't seem to find a UK supplier for it unless it goes by a different model number. Can anyone shed some light onto this for me?

So between the EVO, M401 Pilot and the DSE 901. Which is favored by you guys? I love my EVO and it works well but I am looking to get hold of a better looking one as well. Also is it true that there are cart issues with the 901, I keep finding posts about very short usage before they run dry?

Last question, anyone else here from Jersey C.I (the rock as we call it) and does anyone know if the anti smoking law is any different for us down here than it is for the mainland?

The main problem that I've found with the 901 is the battery life. It works much better on a usb passthrough. I think a 901 would be a backwards step for you if you have an Evo, which has excellent battery life.

Which is more important to you, looks or vapour? If the latter try a penstyle, which delivers excellent vapour. The stainless steel ones are also very smart imho.

The Pilot, from what I can gather, is an American modified M401. The Evo is an English modified M401, so there probably isn't sufficient difference between them to justify getting one if you have an Evo.

There are some interesting new developments coming up. The Lady/Mini pipe is just about to get into peoples' hands and has an excellent review from Parked. It will be interesting to see what people make of it. Also the Janty Stick should be out soon - an e-cig that doesn't look like an e-cig! It might be worth hanging on for a week or two - though from experience I know that there's a constant temptation to get something new!

I think I will stick to the evo for now then, maybe wait for the EVO black to come back into stock. I noticed the Janty stick but havent found much info on it, just saw the small pic on the janty website, will keep an eye out for it.

It's a shame the companies selling these e-cigs arn't more informative about the model/type that they are selling, most of the online retailers tend to just say "Buy the new amazing mini e-cig made by us!" which doesnt help much as I know they probably didnt make and is a "modified" model that is more mainstream (some of which get terrible reviews). But what can you expect from a company that wants to sell it as something unique.
