ive got a evod tank, just one of the cheap $25 kit ones and it leaks really bad, the only thing ive changed is the coil and im not sure if its an evod coil but it seems to fit perfect, i even put 2 of the o ring things that go on the bottom part of the coil on it. i put juice in it and take a hit of it and the juice comes right back out im not sure whats going on with it.

Hmm. I found the EVODs (1 and 2) leaky and only managed to stop it by rebuilding.
The original was very bad indeed. I lost a complete tank of juice once...
Personally, I would just upgrade rather than fight the inevitable. Most of the 'old tech' Kangers leaked. They were quite well behaved for users that kept their e-cig reasonably still and upright. Any "pocket action" was a recipe for wet pocket syndrome.

the coils that fit in the evods; there are many that 'fit' that might not be suitable; if you coil is gurgling a lot then it's not sealing at the top to the center tube.

otherwise maybe the flavour wicks are not sealing the holes enough and liquid is just leaking through.

if you suck to hard it also tends to flood the coil and leak

honestly the new kanger kbox kit is pretty sick. I rock a 30w istick with a mini subtank as a beater for work and travel and works great. plus the subtank comes with the rebuildable head that you could always try out at some point and stop paying for throwaway coils!

just stay away from the istick 50w, a lot of electrical issues with those.

there's a new eleaf combo set up similar to the ego one that I think will perform a bit better. so if you have the patience to wait to see a review on that. otherwise kbox for the win. get a regulated mod, tank and a lot of options for about $60

First, make sure you're putting the coil in the right way (and not upside down!) With EVOD heads, the coil can go in either way; if you put the coil in from the bottom rather than the top it will do just what you are seeing!

I've never had a problem with the evods leaking, but you can try this fix:
You see that translucent plastic "donut" near the top of the coil? Take a second donut (from another head) and put it on top of the first, but facing the other direction (open at the top). This second donut can provide an extra seal around the up-tube in the center, and prevent leaking.

ETA: Also get rid of that second o-ring; it won't help and will probably make things worse.

ETA2: If by "o-ring things" you mean the donut, then you DEFINITELY have the coil in upside down!

ill tinker around with it a little more @twgbonehead and @Casey Donnelly, i was just looking at a kbox kit for $60, called the "subbox"!

ya sorry I always screw those up. the "subbox" kit is pretty legit

unfortunately just like ALL things vape related, will probably be outdone in a few weeks but that's just the world we live in

yea i may just have to sell off the battery and get a new setup. i was thinking an aspire nautilis mini tank with a 30w eleaf battery OR a an isub G tank on the eleaf OR get the joytech ego one! any opinions?
For me, the eGo one is just not the way to go...flexibility is everything...

yep, either of those sound like good setups nowadays; but the ego one battery has no screen though, so I'd go with an istick
