I'm new to Ecigs maybe 1 1/2 months. I didn't like V2 Cigs as the cartomizers were very bad some only lasting for a couple of days. So today I got my Evod kit and one of the things they sent me was a rubber suction cup to hold the Evod upright.

I had to keep the V2 Ecigs upright or they quit working. My question is do the Evods have to be kept upright or can I lay them down? Also does anyone know if there is a step by step way to clean the cartomizers to refresh them ?

I might mention to those who are considering Ecigs as a way to quit smoking using a step by step reduction in the nicotine strength, that I actually prefer the taste of the ecig over the roll-your-own tobacco.

I started with Evods and still use them. I lay them down all the time.

I just let them soak in hot water. I'll give the coil/head a quick soak in alcohol and then back into hot water if I plan on using a different flavor juice. Once they dry out pull the stem off the head and look at the wick. If it looks burnt, it's time for a new one.

I've only been vaping 5 days but have evods and have filled them up with various juices and messed around with the atomizers etc. and no problems whatsoever, no leaking, no nothing and i bring my set up with me everywhere, keep them in my pocket sometimes no problems...to clean just search you tube for cleaning evod tanks i noticed the guy at 317 has an excellent vid on that!
