I just got my VAMO and I noticed when I check my ohms on my EVOD, the ohms would change. Not all the time but sometimes it'll read 1.5ohm or 1.7ohms or even 2.5 ohms when the heads are 2.5ohms.

I have nothing wrong with it because it still vapes fine but I was wondering what might be causing this? It seems as though when I take off the head to refill and put it back on for my first drag, that's when it usually changes. It does however change a little still when I"m vaping through a new refill.

Is this bad? Or is it normal?

i honestly think its something to do with the vamo... i own two and both do this with anything i put on it. Earlier tonight i put one of my rbas that was supposed to be at 1ohm on it... nope it read 1.6. 2 hits later it was reading 1.2 ohms..... im sure why but its something that affects both of them. My only conclusion could be that its the chipset the vamo uses.

I see. Looks like I'm not the only one that's having this problem then.

I see the same thing with my Vamo V2. I don't know but my guess is that it is sampling the resistance over time and calculating some kind of average. In a very short time (5 - 10 seconds) after putting a tank on the Vamo, resistance goes from much higher than rated to about right.

I do have to say that yesterday, a ProTank that has been showing 2.5 Ohms has consistently dropped to 2.0 Ohms. Not sure what that is and it is a little far from the rated resistance. A lot of this is just that these devices are not proper meters and are just trying to be close enough.

My cents.
