Fasttech "Evods" do/will they work? Anyone try them? Ohms' help too.

I have two FT EVODs (I call them ChEVODs or cheap EVODs)

They worked fine but the stick heads are hit or miss. Purchased a genuine Kanger EVOD and some genuine Kanger heads and installed them in my Pro tank. Much, much better! The PT is less airy and the ChEVODs work great!

Oddly enough, my genuine Kanger EVOD had an insanely tight draw. The Kangers have the holes in the middle of the collar and the FT ChEVODs had them higher up. I swapped out the base from the FT version to the Kanger along with the Kanger coil and it works perfectly. I'm going to try to drill out larger holes in the Kanger base or try enlarging the holes to get more flow.

Then I'll get a Mini Pro tank so I can have a pyrex "EVOD" as I prefer to call them. The Ego cone threaded collar on the EVODs should replace the much smaller/weaker threaded 510 connection IMHO. Maybe the Pro tank 3 will have the far superior EVOD style Ego threaded sleeve? I dunno, but I'm watching.

got my FT evod yesterday and had to recoil it right away. after that its ok i guess, never had a real one so i can't compare but, its sure not on par with my rewicked and coiled protank! even my recolied T3's out perform it...
