Fry, it isn't the evods themselves being phased out. Just the heads are changing. Instead of making multiple size heads, Kanger is switching to one size head to fit all the bottom feeders they make. You can still get evods and heads for them.

I like the evod heads because the draw is a little tighter. I'll have like 28 total. Enough to rebuild for years. Ha by then something better will come out and I'll feel like a dumb ... lol.

I'm with you, Sir Eric. (Except for that rebuilding thing you keep mentioning..) I bought an evod last week at my B&M that came with the big ol' one-size-fits-everything honking thingymabob and I don't much like it in my nice little evods......I am now in full hoarder mode. So I am most grateful for the sale info!
