I vape my EVODs at 10 watts and don't get any burnt taste from them. I did find, however, that after refilling them I usually have to let them sit for a few minutes or else I do get a few burnt and dry hits off them. Also another trick is when you first get them, take them apart, dry burn the coil then add a drop or two of liquid to the wick before putting it all back together and filling them. I find it helps to avoid those first few dry hits when you first get them and it vapes a little more consistently. And if you're still having trouble after that, try removing a flavor wick (the loose wicks that sit on top of the coil/main wick assembly). Thicker (and sometimes thinner) juices tend to not flow so well into the coil with both flavor wicks installed and they will get a little dry while vaping. I vape 65/35 pg/vg and have only one flavor wick installed. Hope this helps!

I recently bought 2 Kanger EVOD clearomizers and i keep getting a burnt taste. I have no problem with my top coil tanks. Is there a learning curve with BCC's? I'm using a Vamo V3 and vape between 6 and 8 watts. I tried going lower to 3w with the same results.

Hi DJpuffer,

you know, once you burn your wick and coil you need to remedy it
or it will continue to give you the burnt taste (replace or renew coil)

then regardless of what Ω coil you have, just start low power, then work up till it tastes good
