3.7 sounds about right to me too. There is a vaping chart that gives you a rough estimate of the volts needed against the ohms of the head to create a good starting point.

click the first image shown.

That said, if it feels right, it probably is. If you start low and keep cranking it up until you either a) hit the perfect vape or b) get a burnt taste and back it off a notch you'll not go far wrong.

Welcome , and I just use the rule of two . If my carto , or atty is 2 ohms , +2 = 4volts . 1.8 +2 = 3.8 . Nothing set in stone here . You can go a little lower or higher . It all depends on what best suits you . But the suggestion to start at the lowest voltage , and working your way up , is a good one . Don't worry about the voltage , just tune it to your liking . Whatever that turns out to be , is what's best for you . Good Luck

I agree with the other responses. I would start with around 3.6-3.7, and if you like the flavor you are getting, bump it up slowly and see how it goes. Eventually your juice will likely start to taste burnt. once that is the case bump it back down a notch and make note of your ideal vape. If it already tastes burnt at 3.7, you may have a 1.8 Low res coil in there, and in that case just bump it down a notch until it tastes great.

Problem with a question like this is that there are so many varying answers and flavor is subjective. Those are my recommendations above to find the best flavor. Still, what you find ideal could be very different from me. What's worse, I have drippers and tanks, and actually vape each at a different voltage (even with same flavor in them)! My friend vapes the same liquid as I do, but in a different PG/VG ratio, and he prefers a way higher voltage than I do on the same hardware. So there is no true answer besides expirement. Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone! All of this info has been incredibly helpful. I've been hitting it at around 3.8-4.0. It's kind of inconsistent, though. I will say that it tastes burnt at about 4.2v. I didn't ask what the ohm rating was on the atomizer whenever I bought it, but we can chalk that up to me being a noob. When I buy a new atty for it I'll request a 1.8ohm. That's what I have in my Vivi Nova and it produces tons of vapor. I esp like the "+2" rule that Renzuli suggested. I will try and remember that from now on.

Thanks again everyone!

You can keep that EVOD going by replacing just the little "head" that screws in - and they're CHEAP, like $6 for 5 of them - it's one of the cool things about the EVOD. When you order those, you can choose from two resistances, I think 1.8 or 2.2?

One tip on the EVOD, too - check that that little thing is screwed in tight every time you get the chance - like when you're refilling it. It somehow can loosen during use, and that can let a little juice into the airway causing gurgling, etc...
