Make sure all connections are secure. Plug it in. If the color on the end that is plugged into the wall is red, wait till it either changes to green or goes out. Not sure what that one will do.

Sometimes there are problems with the chargers and they are not working when you get them. If the light does not show charging, contact the company that you bought it from and try to get them to switch it out with a new one.

Let us know how it goes.

2 hours is probably not enough to fully charge it, but it should definitely have some charge after that time. It sounds like it has not charged, rather than a fault with the battery. Did a red light come on the charger when you plugged it in? The light should turn green when it is fully charged. Check you are charging it correctly, and if not then I would request a replacement charger.

If the company will not change the charger, they are not expensive to buy another one.

Are you sure the battery is turned on? I am not sure how many quick clicks it takes to turn your battery on or off, but you might want to check the instructions and try it. When we got our Evod starter kits with two batteries, one battery came partially charged and turned on, the other needed to be charged and then I needed to do 5 quick clicks to turn it on. Until I reasoned that out, I thought I had a dead battery from the get-go.

I use an Evod-V V3 USB style battery. One fine day while traveling, my Nautilus came apart in my bag. The base separated from the rest of the tank. I pressed it back together and attempted to fire it, but it had the same problem that the OP was experiencing. The button just blinked five times. Had to finagle the base until it made solid contact with the pin. Could be a similar issue here. Not all tanks work with every stick. Could be a charging issue too since yours was brand new. Was it a twist style charger or mini USB connector to the device?
