Okay so I just bought the joye510 - it came with pre filled cartridges but I also bought 5 empty cartridges, 36 RY4 juice, and a needle (which was hard to explain when i opened the package in front of my friends. haha) Anyway, do I leave the fabric inside the empty cartridges and fill it up? or do i take the fabric out and fill the cartridge? Also, I am literally opening my joye 510 now and I have to leave for class in 2 hours - I can't wait - I am only going to let it charge for those 2 hours - how horrible is that? I only need a good 30 minutes of vaping tonite.

First, make sure your atomizer is clean. If it's brand new this shouldn't be an issue. Open it up blow out the primer inside.

Grab your e-liquid bottle and drip 2 to 3 drops on the "bridge" (the wire mesh inside the atomizer) wait between drops letting the previous drop soak into the bridge. Attach and empty cart (take the filler material out) and enjoy.

Only add new drops when your vapor production drops off and you start to taste the dry "atty" taste. It is specific to your atomizer and you will be able to tell that it's a different flavor from your liquid.

After you've 'broken in' your new atomizer as Porphy suggested (to minimize the taste/heat generated by the protective chemical that the manufacturer put into the atomizer so it wouldn't get 'too dry' while it's sitting in some warehouse waiting to be sold), you probably WILL want to put the fabric - also called 'filler' - back into your cartridge, and slowly drop liquid into it so that the fabric holds the liquid in its 'mesh' so it's easier for the atomizer to vaporize. It takes me 8-15 drops to fill it 'enough'. As I vape, i add more juice being careful not to overfill the cartridge.
